CVTDUO42(32) is self interlocking (mates to itself), there is no male & female side. It works on the principle of interlocking mushroom heads, which provide a solid connection when pressed firmly together. It can be fastened as often as required either lengthwise or crosswise and re-opened anytime.
CVTDUO42(32) has a high strength acrylic foam adhesive, giving it an excellent bond to many substrates including but not limited to metal, wood, stone, porcelain, glass, varnished parts and plastics like PVC, ABS. Very good adhesion, which improves on ageing to most substrates.
Temperature range approx -30oC up to +160oC (short term) depending on surface & load.
Virtually weather and waterproof, Resistant to ageing due to moisture and heat according to Ford Spec SKM-3G 9512-A

Since the glue has to bond with the surface it is recommended not to put any weight on before 30 minutes(even better 2 hours) has elapsed.
